(LPPC Chair MG tells on TV about Ballot Fairness activities to County Board . Originally published Dec 23, 2005) Pinellas Libs started their program with a bang. This year supporters:
- Hosted what the national LP called a ‘National Quality Convention” with speakers including local projects such as Sudbury schools and a former Federal Commissioner, and outreach to 500 community leaders
- Started having supporters give literature to their personal networks and neighbors, using 50,000 penny handouts devised paid by Convention proceeds
- Started regular Club meetings and seminars and media outreach
- Monitors at several advisory boards ending up with 3 people in office.
